Privacy

SatBase does not ask for an account, a name or an e-mail address in order to be read. Below is everything that is kept about its visitors at the moment.

Language cookie

When you choose a language from the selector in the header, your browser keeps a cookie named sb_limba with the chosen language for one year, so that the next pages open in the same language. The cookie holds no personal data and is not used for tracking. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Visit statistics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and pages read. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Analytics starts with storage refused, and there is currently no window where you could accept it: no statistics cookies are saved in your browser there. Google may still receive anonymous data about the visit, for example the page opened.

Outside these regions, storage for Analytics is allowed by default, so Google Analytics may save statistics cookies in your browser.

Server logs

Like any web server, the server hosting the site may keep technical logs (IP address, time and requested page), used for security and troubleshooting.

Ads

The site does not show ads at the moment. If they appear, this page will be changed first, with the necessary information.

Accounts and comments

There are no accounts on SatBase at the moment and new comments cannot be added. They will arrive together with the HD Satelit account, and this page will then say what data is kept.

Older comments, shown on some channel pages, do not keep the e-mail address or the IP address of the person who wrote them: only the name and the text are visible.
